Jhansi outstation cab: round trips to Khajuraho, Chitrakoot

An outstation cab from Jhansi keeps the car and driver with you for the whole trip, there and back. We charge by the km, with at least 250km counted for each day. A driver allowance is added for each day too.

When

How the km add up

Khajuraho is 175km from Jhansi, about 3 hours 30 minutes each way. There and back is 350km. Over two days, the minimum is 500km, so you pay for 500km even if you drive less.

That leaves room for a drive around the temples, or a stop on the way. Orchha is close to the Khajuraho road, so it fits on the first morning. Our Khajuraho guide has more on the trip.

Chitrakoot is 295km, about 4 hours 45 minutes each way. There and back is twice that, well over the 500km two days count. So the km you drive are what you pay for. The ghats and temples at Chitrakoot are spread out, so plan a full day there.

The driver allowance

The driver allowance is charged once for each day of the trip. It is the same for a hatchback and a sedan, and higher for an SUV or Premium SUV. Tolls, parking and state taxes are paid at actuals.

Questions guests ask

How many days should I book for Khajuraho?

Two days suits the drive there and back. Two days count 500km, which covers the 350km with room to drive around the temples. A third day adds another 250km to the minimum.

Can I book a round trip for one day?

Yes, but one day still counts 250km. For Orchha or Datia and back, a day tour costs less, as it counts the first 40km.

Is Khajuraho better as a round trip or one way?

If you come back to Jhansi with us, book a round trip. If you move on from Khajuraho, book one way.
